The Ink Business Preferred from Chase offers a 100,000 points sign-up bonus worth approximately $1,000. You need to spend $8,000 in 3 months, which requires planning but is achievable with regular expenses.

As a business card, the Ink Business Preferred does not report to personal credit bureaus (for most issuers) and does not count toward Chase's 5/24 limit — though you must be under 5/24 to be approved. You do not need an LLC to apply — sole proprietors with any side income qualify.

Beyond the sign-up bonus, the card earns 3x combined travel, shipping, eligible social-media/search advertising, internet, cable and phone purchases, up to $150,000 per account anniversary year on top of 1x on other purchases. Ultimate Rewards points can be transferred to airline and hotel partners for outsized value, or redeemed at 1.25-1.5x through the Chase travel portal with a Sapphire card.

The $95 annual fee is reasonable given the bonus value and ongoing rewards. The card requires good credit (670+).
